Strolling through Magalluf on Mallorca, or Benidorm or Las Palmas in the Canary Islands, looking at hotels, once again I experience this familiar mixture of feelings that combines fascination and horror, attraction and repulsion, the urge to linger and to get away, all at the same time…
“Seaside Holidays” is a project that admits multiple interpretations. Taking for their point of departure the facades of hotels that were built during the 1960s and 70s, most of the works are structured as diptychs in which the images are contradictory and at the same time complementary.
