CNIO Arte is an initiative of the CNIO( (Spanish National Cancer Research Center) that establishes contact between scientists and leading international artists to explore the common territories between scientific research and artistic creation. 

It is supported by the Fundación Banco Santander.

In this edition of CNIO Art 2023, we have the visual artist, Amparo Garrido and the Nobel Prize in Medicine or Physiology (2009), Elizabeth Blackburn.

The CNIO Art project is based on a fundamental principle: both science and art are essential to understand and interpret the world and both can inspire each other.
